Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, particularly in emergency situations, and will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Assist in routine and emergency procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in status.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active Alaska RN license at the time of submission.
• Prior experience in an Emergency Department is required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC.
• Stroke and STEMI experience preferred.
