Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with experience in electrophysiology and interventional cardiology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures in the Cath Lab, monitoring patients, and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Conduct arrhythmia induction and cardioversion procedures.
• Circulate procedures and assist during interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Perform insertion and programming of Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators (AICDs).
• Administer procedural sedation and monitor patient responses.
• Document procedures using Maclab in the Electrophysiology Lab.
• Participate in call rotation, with 5 weekdays and 1 weekend required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, and structural heart interventions.
• Familiarity with the following procedures: IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and PCI for CAD.
• Valid California nursing license.
