Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within the Cath Lab environment. This includes monitoring patient health, assisting in procedures, and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to during interventional cardiac and structural heart procedures, as well as interventional neuro and peripheral vascular interventions. The RN will work alongside a dynamic team of medical professionals dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Assist physicians in interventional procedures.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using Meditech and MacLab.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Texas.
• Professional certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Must have Cath lab experience.
• Preferred experience in IR/Special Procedures.
