Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:30), including 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Nurse will primarily be assigned to behavioral health and is required to work in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center with a focus on high-quality patient care. The candidate will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in the emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Level I trauma environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation utilizing EPIC charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Level I trauma center.
• State nursing license must be active by start date.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BCLS by AHA, PALS, NIH, and TNCC are required.
• EPIC charting experience is preferred.
• Experience in continuous IV and procedural sedation is a plus.
