Schedule

Shift: 7A - 7P, 3 12-hour shifts per week, with 3 weekend shifts per schedule period.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Ortho/Trauma unit, focusing on post-operative knee, hip, and shoulder replacements as well as trauma patients and some neuro overflow cases. The position requires an emphasis on bedside shift reports and hourly rounding to enhance patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and participate in hourly rounding.
• Assist in the recovery and rehabilitation of post-operative orthopedic patients.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and patient status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in orthopedic nursing and telemetry is preferred.
• NIH Stroke certification is a plus.
