Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the operating room. The position requires previous travel experience and a minimum of two years of experience in the field. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team with positioning, draping, and instrument handling.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the surgical team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Valid NM or Compact RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Travel experience required.
