Job Description

The Medical Surgical Nights Unit welcomes first-time travelers. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. Travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope as needed based on facility demands. Brief orientation on the unit is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid NM or Compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical unit.
• Required certifications: BLS.
