Rotating shifts: 3x12 hours, either days (07:00 - 19:30) or nights (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be passed during orientation.
• One supervisory reference from the specialty is required for submission.
