Days - 8hr or 10hr shifts, 36-40 hours per week. No call, no weekends or holidays. Some open-ended late shifts.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist prepares the Cath Lab for Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, assessing and fulfilling patient needs. This position includes performing hemodynamic and control room duties, completing patient catheterization reports, and correlating the analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests.

Responsibilities

• Correlate the analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests to recognize the need for additional interventions and report pertinent findings to the Physician.
• Perform hemodynamic and control room duties while maintaining a working knowledge of equipment.
• Prepare and perform the Cardiac Cath Lab for procedures according to standard operating procedures, including proper supplies and equipment set-up.
• Practice radiation safety to protect both staff members and patients.
• Conduct and monitor patients' stress tests.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience required.
• RCES or RCIS certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Candidate must obtain a state license from the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board within 12 months of the start date.
