Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Tele Float RN to join our team. This position is for an overhire float unit, requiring flexibility to float between different units as needed. Candidates must have an active New York nursing license in hand and previous experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Monitoring and interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing dysrhythmias as needed.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintaining accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Active New York nursing license required before submission.
