Contract RN - Emergency Room

Schedule / Shift

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends. No on-call requirements.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to adapt to various situations and aid in the treatment of diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to patients in the Emergency Department, including trauma and behavioral health cases.
• Conduct initial assessments, triage, and develop treatment plans.
• Utilize equipment such as Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers.
• Assist with procedures like splinting, EKGs, and central lines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Preferred: Meditech experience, trauma experience, and CPI training.
