Shifts are from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Every other weekend commitment required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a teamwork mentality and the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback in a fast-paced environment. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will engage with a diverse and multicultural community.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
• Utilize advanced procedures and equipment as required in a Level 2 trauma center.
• Engage in patient education and ensure a positive experience throughout patient visits.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high volume 100,000 visit ED preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work flexibly in all areas of the Emergency Department.
