Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery / Antepartum Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-risk obstetrics and be comfortable managing antepartum patients in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to antepartum and labor & delivery patients.
• Manage high-acuity patients and perform assessments and interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal well-being using AWHONN fetal monitoring principles.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including magnesium sulfate management and preterm labor management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery or Antepartum nursing experience.
• Current Texas RN License (active, not temporary).
• BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
• ACLS and Meditech experience preferred.
