Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiovascular Operating Room. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care during cardiovascular surgical procedures, including open heart surgeries and valve replacements. This position requires strong scrub experience with a focus on CVOR cases and TAVR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
• Assist with open heart surgeries including CABG, aortic, mitral, and pulmonic valve surgeries.
• Float to the Main OR as needed when there are no CVOR cases.
• Maintain knowledge of current surgical procedures and devices used in cardiovascular surgeries, including impella, heartmate, ECMO, and TAVR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
• Current BLS certification; CNOR certification preferred.
• Active NJ or Compact RN License required at the time of submission.
• Experience with cardiac devices and surgical procedures.
