Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours available per week with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele Nurse to join our team. The unit comprises 37 beds and provides care for patients with medical-surgical needs as well as telemetry monitoring. Candidates must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule and may be required to float to other units if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to patient and family inquiries and provide education on care plans.
• Participate in order to improve quality healthcare delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• NIH and AHA BLS certifications.
