Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse - Nights

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Nurses will be required to work one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend, and must work at least one holiday during the contract duration.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will work on the West 6 Med/Tele unit, which has a total of 37 beds. The nurse will provide care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring and perform essential nursing duties in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med-surg/tele required
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates

Required License and Certifications

• Active New York RN license
• NIH Certification
• AHA BLS Certification

Miscellaneous Information

• Must be flexible according to the facility's scheduling needs
• Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Must be willing to float to other units if needed
• Must be willing to work charge, with training provided if necessary
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
