Schedule

The shifts are typically 8 hours and may vary, usually falling within the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

Job Description

Nuclear medicine technologists are responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients undergoing scans for diagnostic purposes. The unit consists of a 3 GE Camera department with dedicated cardiac and SPECT services.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of nuclear medicine studies including, but not limited to, Cardiac Lexi scans, Adenosine VQ Scans, WBC Scans, HIDA, MUGA, GI Bleed, Octreo, MIBG, and Y90 Zephyr.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be IV certified and have general Nuclear Medicine training from an accredited program.
• Required certifications include CNMT, ARRT NM, or NMTCB.
• BLS certification is also required.
• SPECT experience and EKG certification are preferred.
