Job Description

We are seeking an experienced nurse specialized in rural healthcare to join our team. This role is vital for providing quality maternal and neonatal care in our designated Level 1 L&D department. With a transient population in the area due to plant construction, your strong assessment skills and expertise in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery roles.
• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor maternal and neonatal health.
• Utilize EFM effectively to ensure safe delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a two-person department to deliver high-quality care.
• Adapt to a dynamic work environment given the area's population fluctuations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in rural healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong assessment skills.
• Proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).
• Current nursing license and relevant certifications.
